These hot/cold packs can be heated by placing in hot water, or they can be put in the microwave. For cold treatment, just place them in the refrigerator, or the freezer. They will still be soft and plyable even when frozen!�

Cellex Dry Heat Media
Cellex Dry Heat Media is specifically designed for use in all Chattanooga Group Fluidotherapy units to ensure optimal and efficient operation. Cellex particles are made of natural and organic cellulose, so disposal of the media from the unit is simple and environmentally safe. Cellex Dry Heat Media is packaged in a 10-lb (5 kg) container for easy storage and handling. Each unit is shipped with enough Cellex Dry Heat Media to fill the tank.

Fluidotherapy® systems from Chattanooga Group circulate media in dry heated air that soothes the injured area on contact while stimulating a more rapid and complete recovery. Fluidotherapy is available in three different models and have apecially designed fluidized beds that combine the precise control of dry heat temperature and airflow with CELLEX® media. This combination works to generate the mechanical effects of skin desensitization and limb buoyancy. Standard features include: Microprocessor-based controller, electronic temperature controls, regulated/adjustable air speeds, pulsed or continuous operation modes, Electronic treatment timer, Wake-up pre-heat timer, CELLEX Dry Heat Medium.
Double Extremity unit - Standard capacity; holds 40 lbs (18.1 kgs) of CELLEX media. Large capacity; holds 60 lbs (27 kg) of CELLEX media.
